On March 28, in the eve of the biggest global environmental protection initiative – “Earth Hour”, we thought about the vast consequences of environmental pollution and the huge climate changes that we are constantly causing, and now in this situation when we don’t overexploit the nature, we can observe how quickly it could actually recover.
The tourism as one of the most global industries is responsible for many of the negative changes in the global climate, due to the huge consumption of different natural resources. Despite the large scale of the problem, every hotelier can take daily measures and implement initiatives to help protect the environment in the long term.
Such green initiatives, in addition to helping to actually limit pollution, will promote a cause that each of your guests can support. Green programs also can make people remember you by distinguishing your hotel among the competition in the travel market.
ECO INITIATIVE IDEAS FOR HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS:
