What We Do

Among the main goals of foundation “Travel Mind United” are:

1. To ensure the quality of tourist services and competitiveness by increasing professional qualifications, skills and practical training, and to build the capacity of various professional groups by organizing and conducting trainings, as well as by transfering know-how and good practices;

2. To help create a favorable environment for the sustainable and effective development of tourism in Bulgaria and to establish good practices for carrying out tourist activities as a way to protect the environment and the natural and cultural heritage;

3. To support volunteering as an active factor in the development of society and to initiate various activities for the preservation and development of the natural and cultural-historical heritage of Bulgaria;

4. To demand positive change and to promote individual and social responsibility, as well as to encourage young people, incl. the general public towards sustainable tourism, cultural and sports activities in nature;

5. To assist the governing bodies at the national, regional and local level, as well as various business and non-profit organizations, in identifying and solving current problems in the field of tourism, nature conservation and cultural-historical heritage, incl. those related to the development, marketing and management of destinations, tourist sites and entities, the development, approval and marketing of tourist products and others;

6. To coordinate the efforts of all public sectors and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge between the private sector, the municipal administration and other interested parties by providing professional expertise and consultations according to modern trends in the field of tourism, culture and biodiversity;

7. To support non-formal education and popularization science through practical application of new knowledge and innovative approaches as a key factor for the socio-economic development of Bulgaria;

8. To use and promote a healthy and nature-friendly lifestyle and culture, as well as to promote activities in nature for health and physical activity.
